When trying to conceive, you talk to your doctor first for medical advice. And yes, doctors provide some options, but they’re not always for everyone. If you prefer a more natural, holistic approach to fertility, or you’ve tried everything your doctor has recommended and you’re yet to get pregnant, take a moment to discover these incredible Chinese herbs for fertility success.
Please note, it’s best to talk to your doctor or fertility coach before incorporating these herbs into your diet.
Chaste berry: Also known as Vitex Agnus Castus, chaste berry regulates hormone imbalances. This herb has been known to help many women fall pregnant, especially those over 35 as this herb helps to regulate your natural cycle. That way you will know when it's best to practice baby making for optimal chances of falling pregnant.
Black Cohosh: Black Cohosh is known to stimulate your ovaries, and help produce healthy embryos! Not only this, but if you’re a lady who suffers from menstrual cramps, it can help relieve the pain. However, it should only be used in the first half of your menstrual cycle to prevent problems.
False Unicorn: This root regulates all the activity in your ovaries. Some people suggest that false unicorns also help with men’s fertility. This herb can only be used before regulation and before your pregnancy, it’s best to discuss with your Fertility Coach whether you need this herb and when to take it.
Evening Primrose Oil: Evening Primrose oil helps you to produce good, fertile cervical fluid. This extra layer helps to protect the sperm as they make their way to the egg, leaving a greater chance of fertilisation. It’s safe to use from your period to ovulation.
Red Clover: Red clover helps to thicken the uterine lining, which leads to better implantation and increases your fertility. Again, it’s best to discuss with your fertility coach when you should take this herb.
Chinese herbs are incredible for boosting fertility, but only if used in the correct way. I incorporate the use of these herbs in nearly all fertility programmes I create, but only if they’re right for the couple I am working with. It’s important to talk to a professional about taking any herb, and if you need any advice please feel free to talk to me.
