Three Herbs for your fertility to help boost your chances of falling pregnant naturally, and faster. Adding these herbs into your daily routine when trying to conceive can help prepare your body and increase your chance of pregnancy.
Many couples are faced with issues when trying to have a baby, and whilst not all can be fixed through herbs and lifestyle changes, it can make a big difference. Issues related to irregular cycles and ovulation, high stress, hormone imbalances or even weak uterine muscles may be helped with natural herbs.
These three herbs can help detoxify your body and increase your fertility. For a fertility cleanse and boost, you can consume these herbs in supplement form (following directions for use) daily, or you can boil them and drink as a tea each morning.
Red Raspberry Leaf for fertility
Raspberry leaf is traditionally used as a reproductive tonic. It contains vitamins and minerals (like calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, niacin, selenium, and vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C, and E). When made into a tea or infusion, these nutrients are made easily available to our bodies.
This herb can help to regulate menstrual cycles, making ovulation easier to predict which will increase your chances of conception.
Alfalfa herb for fertility boosting
High in vitamins such as C, E, and K alfalfa is seen as a super-food. For fertility, alfalfa gives your body a boost of minerals that are essential for a strong, healthy reproductive system.
This herb can not only help to balance your hormones (keeping estrogen at bay), but also it’s high level of nutrients can be easily absorbed by the body.
Stinging Nettle for a fertility boost
As with red raspberry leaf, nettle also helps to strengthen and tone the uterus.
High in calcium and magnesium, this herb also cleanses and detoxifies to flush out any harmful toxins that may be affecting fertility. Nettle tea is also a great stress reliever, and if you’ve read any of my previous blogs you’ll know what an effect stress can have on conceiving naturally.
Before taking the plunge and using the herbs, it’s best to discuss with your fertility coach when you should take this herb.
Herbs are incredible for boosting fertility, but only if used in the correct way. I incorporate the use of these herbs in nearly all fertility programmes I create, but only if they’re right for the couple I am working with. It’s important to talk to a professional about taking any herb, and if you need any advice please feel free to talk to me.
